Bone hook and black mother of pearl.

As I gave my hook to my friend when he left Japan to his journey, I made for my self my second hook but inlayed one for this time.

I usually do inlaying with paua shell but I have been curious what’s gonna be looked like if I do with black pearl shells.

So, I collected good colored black pearl shells and made them thin for inlaying and I did it. It took me literally for whole two days though.

I had a kind of guilty of that working on my nacelace as putting off custom orders I got… but once I started working on that, I couldn’t help my self to stop it till the end.

And now,, I am so happy about the result I got.

I have more choices than yesterday and have more idea for my next carvings!!

I think this is great! ^^
