Today, we finished a mammoth ivory fishhook carving pendant.

It's very thick. I liked it, especially the thickness of it. Lovely.

　

I have been making any carving pendants in the same thickness of shells or bones unconsciously.

When I make body piercing with water buffalo horn , I make very thick one though….

Mammoth ivory should be the same as buffalo horn that I can choose any thickness I like…

But I didn't realize it for a very long time…(^^;

We are making an another mammoth ivory hook pendant at the moment. Off course, it's gonna be very thick.

When we finished it, our stock of mammoth ivory would be all gone so that we are planning to buy that again.　

Once we got that material, we are going to make many of very thick hook pendants!!!
